Health education and its aplication in special kindergarten

The main goal of this thesis is to record (describe) the degree of inclusion of educational stimuli from the field of health education to teaching in kindergarten for children with special needs. The secondary goal is to map the most commonly used methods for teaching specific areas of health education, also in the environment of kindergartens dealing with the upbringing and education of children with special educational needs. The theoretical part is devoted to defining the basic concepts of pre-primary education in the field of health education. The specific description is preceded by the definition of individual sub-areas of the topic, such as health, basic human needs and special educational needs or teaching methods. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey, which is aimed at teachers in special kindergartens and classes established under §16 / 9 of Act No. 561/2004 Coll. The questionnaire is put together so that through its completion the goals of the work are fulfilled and the predetermined hypotheses are answered. According to a research survey, teachers include the individual sub-topics of health education to schooling, but not really all of them in the once a week frequency. According to the obtained data, imitation is the most frequently used teaching method in kindergartens for children with special needs.
Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Strakonice

The goal of this thesis is to analyze the possibility of integration for children with visual-, mental-, and hearing- disabilities between the ages of 8 to 15 years into the offer of physical leisure time activities in the Jindřichův Hradec area. The theoretical part deals with the concept of disability, its characteristics and classification and the classification and characteristics of visual-, mental-, and hearing disability. Another component of the theoretical part is the characteristics of the Jindřichův Hradec area and the definition of the concept of a physical leisure time activity. The practical part of this thesis focuses on the very research done in the Jindřichův Hradec area. The research survey was done in a form of a questionnaire survey. 22 Trainers, 15 children with disabilities, 30 intact children, 15 parents of disabled children and 5 Directors took part on the research survey. Research assumptions "that the offer of leisure time physical activities for children with different types of disability is sufficient" were not confirmed. Although 100 % of trainers of leisure-time physical activities hold opinion that children with disabilities should definitely have an opportunity to integrate into leisure-time physical activities, but 55 % of them cannot offer to children with disabilities the option of integration. It is also due the fact that 40 % of trainers have no sports qualification. Intact children as well as children with disabilities are for integration of children with disabilities into leisure time physical activities. The same is true also for parents of children with disabilities who even do not insist on special sports qualification of trainers.

Intention of this bachelor thesis is to examine and to analyze possibilities of integration children aged 8 - 15 years with mental, visual and hearing impairment disabilities in district Písek. This work is divided in theoretical part that explains general view of the term disabilities of children, outlines the importance of integrating children with disabilities to the society with intact children. The characteristic and classification of mental, visual and auditory disabilities are explained and at the same time the possibilities of using suitable sports for individual levels of handicap are described. Theoretical part also describes the district Písek and its offer of free time motion activities. At the same time the meaning and importance of free time activities with reference to healthy style of life is emphasized. In practical part a survey is performed. 18 coaches, 25 children with disabilities, 28 intact children and 7 directors from schools and sports facility participated in the survey. Based on the opinions of coaches and specialized workers, most of them agrees with integration of children with disabilities to the motion activities with intact children. However they aren't able to provide special lead of these activities, because 44 % of them does not have sports education. The excellent report was a clear 100 % agreement on the integration of disabled children by all school heads and sports schools. And they confirmed the answers from children with disabilities, and 52 % of children would like to engage in physical activity with intact children.
Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Strakonice.

The topic of the thesis is the proposition of leisure time physical activities for children with a disability in the region Strakonice. The thesis is divided in two parts. The first, theoretical part, describes the individual disability (mental, hearing and visual) and related terms from a professional point of view. Other topics of theoretical part include leisure time physical activities, controlled physical activities and the very characteristic of the region Strakonice. The second part - practical part of the bachelor thesis - deals with the research in the region Strakonice. There was used a public inquiry for the research, which should map the leisure-time physical activities in the region Strakonice designed for children with mental disorder, hearing and visual impairment at the age of 8 -15 years. Furthermore, the practical part of the work deals with the opinion of intacted children to the integration of disabled children, who attend the same physical activities, and the will of children with the disability to attend leisure time physical activities together with the intacted children. 17 heads of schools and sports, 24 teachers, 33 intacted children, 27 children with a disability and 13 parents of children with disability participated in the research using the public inquiry due to the mutual interconnection. The results of the investigation showed that there are offered 132 physical activities for the children with disabilities in the age of 8-15 years in the areas of the research. Intacted children are in 72 % keen on the integration of the children with disability in the same attended physical activities. Children with disability reported in 96 % that they are happy to be engaged with intacted children into the physical activities.
Offer of leisure-time physical activities for children with disability in the district of Czech Budweis

The aim of this thesis is to provide news about the offer recreational activities for children with mental and physical disability aged 8-15 years in the district of Czech Budweis . The research includes organizations and centers primarily designed for intact children, and my goal will be to find out whether children with disabilities can integrate into these activities. In its theoretical level, the thesis deals with issues of mental and physical disability. Other topics of theoretical part include leisure time physical activities and the very characteristic of the region Czech Budweis. The second part - practical - part of the bachelor thesis - deals with the research in the region Czech Budweis. There was used a public inquiry for the research, which should map the leisure-time physical activities in the region Czech Budweis designed for children with mental and physical disability at the age of 8-15 years. 26 Trainers, 15 Directors, 30 parents of disabled children and 40 intact children took part on the research survey. All research assumptions were confirmed.
Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Prachatice area.

This thesis deals with current availability of physical activity for children with disability age 8-15 in Prachatice region in their leisure time. It is divided into two main parts. The theoretical section is focused on specific terms regarding mental, visual and hearing disability. Practical part is concentrating on main research. The questionnaires were introduced to school masters, sport instructors, children with disability as well as intact children and disability children's parents. The research focused on availability of leisure time physical activity, which is quite extensive for children with hearing and mental disability compare to ones offered to children with visual disability. Through the survey was discovered that 35% of the instructors are without professional sport education, 65% instructors are trainer license holders or physiotherapist. Research also studied possibility of integration children with disability.
Availability, organization and health-social benefits of controlled movement activities in disability children

The dissertation followed 3 research goals: to compare the availability of controlled physical activities in children with mental, hearing, visual disability in selected regions of the EU countries (South Bohemia-Czech Republic, Plovdiv-Bulgaria, Primorska-Slovenia, West Midlands-UK), then in experimental investigation in South Bohemia to monitor indicators of physical health in samples of children with named disabilities, and in same children to monitorindicators of psychosocial health.Analytical research investigations related to availability of controlled movement activities included children aged 8-15 years with researched disabilities, registered in the school systems of analysed regions of EU countries (N=12073 children, 6355 males, 5718 females). In followed experimental investigation in South Bohemia 180 children participated (90 males, 90 females) aged 8 - 15years, weredividedin samplesaccordingresearched disabilities.Evaluation of the data and their statistic interpretation verified the hypotheses. Research results have shown that children with observed types of disabilities can achieve positive effects in anthropometric indicators of training under the influence of controlled physical activities. Research results present also benefits for the social rehabilitation of children with disability in the problematic of reducing fearful behaviour symptoms and in increasing of independent behaviour.

The task is to monitor unhealthy forms of eating (except for school canteen) of children with visual, hearing, mental and physical disabilities at the age of 8-15 years in South Bohemia Region. The aim is to investigate the possibility of food for children, the use of cafeterias, vending machines and determine the quality of the food.
